The U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) has undertaken a review of its portfolio and has determined the awards for The NSF Eddie Bernice Johnson INCLUDES Coordination Hub (Coordination Hub) and Topical Conferences (NSF awards 2320947 and 2404855) are not aligned with its current priorities.

This means the Coordination Hub needs to cease all current and future activities for these awards, including data collection, dissemination, and networking events. We have canceled The NSF Eddie Bernice Johnson INCLUDES National Network 2025 Convening scheduled for August. We will send refunds to those who have already registered for this event.

We are aware that the Online Community (includesnetwork.org) hosts many resources that National Network members use regularly. While we are no longer accepting any new registrations for the community, currently registered users will be able to log in until 5:00 pm (Eastern) on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 to download resources.

We will look for other opportunities to work together on broadening participation and increasing domestic talent production for innovation and leadership in STEM.

The NSF Eddie Bernice Johnson INCLUDES Initiative honors the legacy of the late Honorable Eddie Bernice Johnson by bringing together the power of many and connecting educational institutions, individuals, federal agencies, and other entities across the nation working to broaden participation in STEM education and careers.
